Spring and Summer Semesters 2020 Online

Online study guidelines/expectations

Read the Guidelines for Online Learning to help you understand expectations for attending and participating in online classes at USC’s International Academy.

Asynchronous learning

Asynchronous lessons in Academic English Skills (AS) classes in the Pre-Master’s/Master’s Preparation Programs and the Reading, Writing, Grammar (RWG) classes in the Intensive English Program provide structured time on Fridays for students to apply learning or collaborate with classmates.

Online conversation groups

Each week, you can sign up to join an online conversation group. This is a great option to practice your English language skills with USC students in an informal setting. Conversation topics include American culture, university life, current events and other topics of interest.

Online tutoring

The International Academy now offers online tutoring and GRE/GMAT Prep tutoring for all enrolled students.  During the tutoring hours, a student will receive assistance with their homework and other English language learning activities from one of our expert teachers.

Online libraries

Click to find library resources for online teaching and researching. All library digital collections, services and programs that support remote teaching and learning remain available online during the Summer session.
